Our Values

We believe that providing children with battery free and screen free play spaces allow their imaginations to flourish. This is why you will find none of our toys require batteries, most are open-ended, and all are beautiful. This combination allows children to thrive and inspires hours of creative play. “Play is the Work of the Child”, so we want to help create the best work environment possible for children.

We also carefully curate our collection of toys to be high-quality. As a mom of two that also runs a business, I know the value of time. Our goal is to save you time by selecting only the best options in each toy category. Cheaply made toys simply don’t last as long. They can brake easily posing a danger to children or they hurt your wallet because they need to be replaced more often. Cheaply made toys also create more landfill waste. For all of these reasons, we want to make sure they toys we carry will last and can be passed down or donated. 

Most importantly, we want to make sure that we provide toys that are SAFE. This is why we carry many wooden toy options, organic stuffed dolls and animals, as well as toys that meet European and American quality standards. 

The environement

Being environmentally friendly is in our DNA, and it is at the forefront of all of the decisions we make. 

We believe that the way we choose to spend money can have a powerful impact on the environment, and this is why we choose to focus on curating from brands that are eco-conscious. 

We offset the carbon footprint of all our deliveries through Shopify’s sustainability fund. This fund works to support companies that capture and reduce carbon emissions through direct capture, transportation, storage, biomass, forestry and more. 

We choose environmentally friendly shipping materials like Kraft paper that is recyclable and compostable. We use compostable envelopes, and eco-conscious packaging tape. We reuse 90% of the packaging we receive especially if it includes any type of plastic packaging.
